Peter Adediran is the Principal Solicitor at PAIL. He is admitted in England and Wales. He is a licensed and insured sole practitioner authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority to practice as PAIL Solicitors. He is a leading expert in New Media and specialises in - New Media (websites etc); Advising on promotional and publicity campaigns such as digital marketing campaigns and sponsored events; Fashion and Modelling; Media and entertainment law (including music, film and broadcasts); Intellectual property (contentious and non contentious); Online defamation/harassment and commercial litigation related to his practice areas. Peter has been an academic, a writer and a practising solicitor admitted in England and Wales in New Media since April 1999. He trained in the City of London and has worked for top tier law firms, including Lovell White Durrant. He has worked in the UK and US as an in-house legal counsel for Biblitotech Plc (Online Education Website), AngelWeb (Venture Capital) and for Friends Provident Plc, a FTSE 100 company. He has been a Professor of Busines, Law and the Internet at the European University, Barcelona, Spain. He is the author of: A Practical Guide to Business Law and the Internet, published 2002 by Kogan Page. This book was one of the first to cover business, law and how they relate to the Internet industry for day-to-day practical use. He is fluent in English and Spanish. His interests include swimming, art and architecture, amateur dramatics, film and theatre production. If he had not become a lawyer, Peter would have chosen the stage. Peter is a keen amateur dramatist and has played Othello, Boyet in `Love`s Labour`s Lost` and an argument in an adaptation of the comedy by Aristophanes `The Clouds`. He wrote and directed an adaptation of `Love`s Labour`s Lost`.

Richard Jefferson practises in the areas of intellectual property law and business law, and represents clients within the media, entertainment, technology, action sports, and lifestyle brands spaces. He began his legal career working at Virgin Records America, Inc. in its legal and business affairs department. Thereafter he held associate positions with a top 10 Intellectual Property law firm and a boutique entertainment and sports firm. In early 2003 he co-founded M.E.T.A.L. Law Firm, LLP. Mr. Jefferson has extensive experience in putting together ventures, negotiating deals, managing intellectual property portfolios, and protecting brands within many different fields, including music, television, film, fashion/apparel, animation, e-commerce, video gaming, beverage, and interactive entertainment. He has represented many companies owned by celebrities and athletes over his career. In 2011, Mr. Jefferson represented clients in deals with major companies, including Electronic Arts, PepsiCo, Disney, UniversalNBC, Nordstrom, Warner Brothers, Sony, Pioneer, Tapout, Intuit, and OWN Network. He is an active member of the Business Law and Intellectual Property Law sections of the California State Bar, Beverly Hills Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, National Association of Recording Industry Professionals (NARIP), ASCAP, BMI, National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Inc. (The Grammys), and he serves on the Entertainment Alumni Association Board of Directors for the Biederman Entertainment and Media Institute. He is an instructor at the New York Film Academy (Universal Studios Campus), and routinely provides legal commentary for various media outlets, including MSNBC, People Magazine, and MTV. Mr. Jefferson earned a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University and received his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School where he participated in the prestigious accelerated two-year SCALE program.

Sébastien Lachaussée has studied at university Panthéon-Assas French and German corporate law, and passed a diploma in intellectual property, multimedia and IT law at La Sorbonne - Paris XI University. Before founding Lachaussée Avocat, Sébastien Lachaussée worked in the media and new technology teams of big international French and English law firms, and in a boutique firm specialised in film law. The activity of Sebastien Lachaussée is more oriented to the advising in matters related to Film, Music and New Media law. Sébastien Lachaussée provides also deals with corporate, tax, and labour issues. His working languages are English, German and French.

Dovile is in charge of marketing and PR at PAIL. Apart from promoting the firm`s services to potential clients, she is responsible for procurement. She also issues court proceedings and attends minor court applications. Before working part-time at PAIL Solicitors, Dovile was a fashion model at Elite model management, Milan; Mainboard management, Barcelona; and Viva Models, Berlin. She modelled for designers like Gucci and Agent Provocateur. Education: Dovile is currently a full-time undergraduate student at London Metropolitan University studying music media management; and she has a diploma from the London College of Fashion in fashion business. Dovile speaks English, Lithuanian and basic Spanish & Russian. Her interests include contemporary fashion and travelling.
